Point of Purchase Screens
This project was intended to increase sales by updating the point of purchase menu screen shots that were displayed behind the bar at Diversey Bowl. I added character and graphic interest to the menu in order to catch the attention of the customer as they approached the bar. My goal was accomplished by keeping the slides visually simple while projecting a sense of silliness and fun, reflecting the surrounding environment.
The slides received a lot of attention and tripled Jello shot sales within the first week.

The Mystery Menu
Another marketing project I took on at Diversey Bowl was creating Mystery Menu. We would receive free sample bottles of liquor given to us by liquor distributors in hopes that we would eventually carry their product. I saw this as a perfect opportunity to move some bottles.
The problem was the liquor would sit on the shelves in the liquor room until the owners would take them home for their own parties because we didn't have a system of promotion in place. This was not effective for our sales or the liquor companies. Why not promote new product, see if we can rotate out products that do not sell well and make a profit on our free liquor? I created specials for our new product. $2 shots and $4 double cocktails. If we wanted to buy a round of shots for customers, we would try out our new product on them and get their input. There were a few bottles that sold extremely well, such as Veev, Pinnacle Whip and Tito's Vodka. We were able to replace items that were declining in sales with these new liquors and keep our inventory fresh and diverse.
